By completing a booking, the customer confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
1. Service Provider
The cooking classes and related food experiences offered through this website are provided and sold by:
SCALI DAINELLI ALESSANDRO
La Barbarella is responsible for providing the booked service and managing customer reservations.
2. Booking and Confirmation
Bookings may be made through the online booking system available on the website.
When the booking process is successfully completed and the customer receives the booking confirmation, the reservation is considered confirmed.
Bookings are therefore not subject to subsequent manual approval unless the customer is expressly informed otherwise.
The customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete information when making a reservation.
Availability shown by the booking system is based on the availability configured for the selected experience.
3. Prices
Prices are expressed in euros (€).
The applicable experience page indicates the price and services included.
Unless otherwise stated, the displayed price applies to the selected experience and participant category.
Any optional or additional services not included in the published price will be communicated separately.
4. Payment
No online payment is required when the booking is made, unless expressly stated otherwise.
Payment for the booked experience is made directly to La Barbarella on site.
The available payment methods may include cash or card according to the facilities available at the venue.
The website does not require a payment card as a booking guarantee.
5. Cancellation by the Customer
Customers may cancel their confirmed reservation free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time, unless different conditions have been expressly communicated for a particular booking.
Customers should communicate cancellations as soon as possible using the contact information provided on the website or in the booking confirmation.
For cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled experience, the provider may apply the cancellation conditions communicated during the booking process.
6. No-Show
If the customer does not attend the booked experience and has not cancelled in accordance with the applicable cancellation conditions, the reservation will be considered a no-show.
As no payment card is collected as a booking guarantee through the website, no automatic card charge is made by the booking system in the event of a no-show.
Any applicable consequences of a late cancellation or no-show are subject to the conditions communicated to the customer and to the payment methods legally available to the provider.
7. Late Arrival
Customers should arrive at the agreed location at the scheduled time.
La Barbarella will make reasonable efforts to accommodate delays where possible.
A significant delay may result in a shortened experience or, where participation is no longer reasonably possible, loss of the booked service.
8. Changes to the Number of Participants
Requests to change the number of participants are subject to availability.
Reductions or increases should be communicated as soon as possible.
Any increase in participant numbers requires confirmation where capacity may be affected.
9. Cancellation or Changes by La Barbarella
If La Barbarella is unable to provide a confirmed experience, the customer will be informed as soon as reasonably possible.
Depending on the circumstances, the customer may be offered:
- an alternative date or time;
- an equivalent experience; or
- cancellation without charge.
Where any amount has already been paid and the service is cancelled without an acceptable alternative, any refund due will be handled according to applicable consumer law.
10. Dietary Requirements and Allergies
Customers should communicate food allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements when making the booking or as soon as possible afterwards.
La Barbarella will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requirements communicated in advance.
Customers with serious or potentially life-threatening allergies should contact La Barbarella before participating so that the suitability of the experience can be assessed.
Unless expressly confirmed otherwise, the complete absence of traces of allergens cannot be guaranteed in a kitchen where different ingredients are handled.
11. Alcoholic Beverages
Wine or other alcoholic beverages may be included in certain experiences.
Alcohol is served in accordance with applicable Italian law.
Non-alcoholic alternatives may be available on request.
12. Responsibility of Participants
Participants must follow reasonable instructions concerning:
- kitchen equipment;
- cooking and food preparation;
- ovens and cooking equipment;
- property and outdoor areas;
- health and safety.
La Barbarella may refuse or discontinue participation where a person’s behaviour creates a significant safety risk to themselves, other participants, staff or property.
13. Children
Children may participate where permitted by the selected experience.
Applicable age categories and prices are indicated on the relevant experience page.
Children remain under the supervision and responsibility of their accompanying adult.
14. Right of Withdrawal
Cooking classes and related leisure experiences offered through the website are booked for a specific date and time.
Where the statutory requirements are met, the general 14-day right of withdrawal applicable to certain distance contracts does not apply.
The applicable booking and cancellation conditions therefore apply.
15. Personal Data
Personal data provided in connection with bookings and enquiries are processed according to the website’s Privacy Policy.
Information concerning cookies and similar technologies is available in the Cookie Policy.
16. Applicable Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
